Brooklyn-based photographer Alyssa DeMarco makes her foray into the world of dream pop and unabashed usage of autotune as an instrument with her debut EP "A Room Of Her Own" under the moniker ac demarco. She writes songs about how even in the biggest city in the world, you still can’t run away from your problems.

In highschool I was over a boy's house and for some reason was invited to join his family for dinner on the literal first time we'd ever hung out outside of school. His dad cooked us a spaghetti dinner --I remember lifting up my fork and the watery sauce dripping right off the noodles and bouncing into the plate. Absolutely no flavor. Then I found out he was hooking up with 3 other girls at the same time and ghosted him, so in the end, everything was still bad.
